Each client trade is matched at one of the firm’s institutional counterparties. All spot trades are over the counter (OTC) and matched within seconds. Existing institutional counterparty relationships are held with:

Safeguarded and segregated client funds

As a DFSA authorised firm with an endorsement to hold and control client assets, any funds received in relation to client business by Argentex (DIFC) Ltd prior to the value date, open in-the-money positions, or funds held by Argentex (DIFC) Ltd post trade but not yet paid to the order of the client, are segregated in line with the DFSA COB Rulebook and specifically App5 “Client Money Provisions.

As a globally recognized Electronic Money Institution, Argentex operates through multiple entities across different regions. Argentex BV, authorized in the EU, alongside Argentex LLP, regulated by the FCA in the UK, and Argentex Pty, overseen by ASIC in Australia, facilitate money remittance under various regulatory frameworks. Argentex BV safeguards client funds in a dedicated bank account held by Stichting Derdengelden Argentex, a Foundation incorporated under Dutch law by Argentex Group PLC. The Foundation, serving as a third-party funds entity, is supervised by the De Nederlandsche Bank.
